Group play and newcomer training starting in June

Doubles, as well as training in groups, will also be allowed again soon:

  • From June 4th, up to 10 people will be allowed on the court.
  • Again, the prerequisite is that you are either vaccinated or tested negative.
  • Our newcomer training starts on Monday, June 7th (always on Mondays at 7 pm at Stephan’s).
  • Until June 4th only singles are still allowed.

Matches & tournaments starting June 12th

Doppel auf den Plätzen 3 und 4
Tournaments will start in June

Tournaments are also allowed starting June 4th. Of course, testing is compulsory here as well. Matches will take place from June 12th. The tennis association will send us and we will send the team captains separate information on this. Matches that were scheduled before June 12th will be rescheduled – unless they take place in Brandenburg, where competition is already permitted.

Please check the TVBB regularly for the latest information: » Treptower Teufel at TVBB.

Your tests will be checked by the board, the groundsman Jürgen, the caterer Aci and possibly also by the police. Please always carry proof of vaccination or negative test results with you. Please take the obligation to test seriously, as the club and you personally may be subject to considerable penalties if violations are found. Our first experience with a police check was during the dismantling of the hall. Here we were able to avoid a fine.

The booking of seats via Eversport is still obligatory and at the same time serves as a contact tracing system for us. In addition, of course, masks are still compulsory. Changing rooms and showers remain closed.

By the way, you can find all test centres at https://test-to-go.berlin. The test centre in the Bärenquell brewery offers free testing via drive-in without pre-registration: https://schnelltest-baerenquell.de.

And there’s always something happening on our Facebook page too! Feel free to follow us and stay up to date. We highly recommend a visit to the restaurant. Aci’s cooking is super tasty. Our favourite is the Oriental pizza with an Aperol Spritz! Cheers!

The courts are still very soft, as they are every spring. Please pay attention to the following points:

  • Enter the courts only with sand court shoes
  • Water the courts sufficiently before playing
  • No matches allowed for the time being
  • Please close any holes immediately
  • After playing, please scrape, sweep the court and the lines.

If we manage to follow all the instructions, we will have a long summer season ahead of us.

Hall Dismantling 2021

Platz 3 und 4 und Halle

Our hall has been standing there for the entire winter without us being able to play more than three rallies in it.

For a few weeks now, the motor of the hall has been giving us a lot of trouble. Our expert strongly advises us to drain the hall and repair the motor.

In order to prevent a motor damage and an expensive repair, we need to take this as an opportunity and dismantle the hall directly.

We hereby cordially invite you to the dismantling of the hall:

Hall Dismantling

Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 8 a.m. on our facility.

To ensure traceability, please register exclusively via this link: https://www.eversports.de/e/class/VD-h64PAZ

There will be lists on site where you can register. As you all know, every year every member over the age of 14 is required to work (or pay) 5 hours. The hall dismantling is the perfect opportunity to earn work hours and get to know our new gastronomy. They will offer take-away drinks and snacks.

Hygiene precautions

An FFP2 mask must be worn during all times while dismantling to minimize the risk of corona infections. The clubhouse remains closed except for the toilets.

Corona Update

Current messages

Information about the hall closure according to the 10th Infection Protection Ordinance (as of 03.11.2020)

Hello dear members,

we unfortunately have to inform you today that we have to close our airdome with immediate effect. We received the decision to close from the district yesterday.

Today, we have again set all the levers in motion to change the mind of the district, unfortunately without success. Of course, we know that the health of all is in the first place, but nevertheless – but especially because the Infection Protection Ordinance does not prohibit the implementation of contact sports in pairs even in the halls – we had hoped for a different result.

Due to the different message, among others of the TVBB, we were very confident to still get the permission. In our case, however, the district has the power to decide and so we have no choice but to accept the closure of our airdome and leave our outdoor courts open for you as long as possible. Only singles may be played there.

As of now, we are closing our hall until November 30, 2020. Fortunately, the weather is playing along quite well in the next few days, so we are confident that we will be able to fully use courts 3-8 at least this week and next. Please be sure to reserve your courts in advance through Eversport, as we have done in previous months, so that we can ensure traceability.

The locker rooms, showers and our gastro will also be closed. So please come already dressed to the courts and leave the facility immediately after the training. Should we have to send the courts into hibernation due to weather conditions, we will inform you immediately.

As soon as there are updates on the current situation, we will get back to you.

Hang in there and stay healthy!

Hall dismantling 10.10.2020

Dear members,

this year’s hall dismantling will take place on October 10 in various shifts starting at 8am or 10am. As always, we need every helping hand! Please pay special attention to the distance and hygiene rules due to corona.

Take advantage of this opportunity to complete work hours. As a reminder: For hours not worked a monetary compensation of 10€ per hour not worked has to be paid. By the way, this also applies to members who leave the club on 12/31.

Our seniors will again actively prepare the set-up – thank you very much for that!
